    WHOLE LODDON LOVE: BARINGHUP

THE MAES + JESS PARKER BAND + FELICITY CRIPPS BAND + MANDY CONNELL and more

Whole Loddon Love is bringing live music back to pubs and halls in flood-affected areas along the Loddon River this October - and we're wrapping up the series of events, with a daytime community party at Baringhup Hall. Featuring live music from The Maes (Castlemaine/Naarm), The Jess Parker Band (Campbells Creek/Naarm), The Felicity Cripps Band (Castlemaine) and Mandy Connell (Maldon).  There will be a Welcome / Smoking Ceremony + performance from a Castlemaine-based Solomon Islanders Dance Troupe.

A delicious fundraising BBQ will be run by the good folks from The Baringhup Hall Committee and the West Baringhup CFA, with money going back to both organisations - who are also running a ripper of a raffle! Shedshaker Brewing are running the bar (no BYO) and will be donating profits back into the community.

The shows are free for locals & kids, super-affordable for those travelling from outside the Loddon Valley, and are family inclusive. Locals (and kids!) must register for their free tickets. If you live in Mount Alexander Shire but are not an immediate local, please consider purchasing a ticket. There is also an option for reduced-cost tickets for locals. We encourage those who are in a position to purchase tickets to do so, as the money will go back into the community.

This event is outside, so BYO picnic chairs & rugs.

The Live Music for Flood Recovery Program is supported by Music Victoria and by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria. The program has supported many events throughout 2023, from small gigs in pubs featuring local musicians, to large-scale festivals and community events, with passionate artists supporting communities and sharing music to provide a space for impacted communities to revive, recover and gather together after a tumultuous year.

Whole Loddon Love has received additional support from Loddon Shire and Mount Alexander Shire Councils, and is produced by Lady Adventurer, with moral support from the Theatre Royal Castlemaine
