CGS Wheelers Hill presents “NEWSIES JR"

2024 Caulfield Grammar Wheelers Hill Middle School is excited to present the broadway smash hit “NEWSIES JR”.

Disney's "Newsies Jr." is a captivating musical that brings to life the inspiring story of the Newsboys' Strike of 1899. Set in the hustle and bustle of New York City, the musical follows the charismatic newsboy, Jack Kelly, as he leads a group of young newspaper sellers in a fight against powerful newspaper magnates who are exploiting their labour.

Filled with energetic dance numbers, catchy tunes, and a strong message of solidarity, "Newsies Jr." is a celebration of resilience, friendship, and the power of standing up for what is right. The vibrant characters, dynamic choreography, and memorable songs make this musical an engaging and uplifting experience for both performers and audiences alike.
