About the Event
Join us for the launch of the WHSN Collective Impact Report 2025, celebrating the achievements and progress made towards improving the health and wellbeing of women and gender diverse people across Victoria.
The morning will open with remarks from Peninsula Health leadership, welcoming attendees to Peninsula University Hospital and acknowledging the significance of this event for the region.
We are honoured to also welcome Minister Mary-Anne Thomas, Minister for Health, who will deliver a Ministerial Address.
A central feature of the program is our panel discussion, How Partnerships with Women’s Health Strengthen Community Outcomes, facilitated by Dr Adele Murdolo. The panel will explore real-world examples of collaboration and impact, with contributions from:
Paul Mercurio MP, Member for Hastings – on allyship and lived experience as a father navigating the health system
GenWest – applying a gender lens to Maribyrnong’s post-flood recovery
Women’s Health East (WHE) – improving SRH hub access for Haka Chin women and migrant/refugee communities
Women’s Health in the North (WHIN) – place-based prevention and cross-sector leadership
The event will conclude with closing remarks from Paul Edbrooke MP, Member for Frankston and Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer.
