Carpooling has been promised as a solution to congestion and emissions for decades, yet it’s never really worked at scale. Why?

This talk goes into why I think carpooling hasn’t taken off, from trust and safety concerns to poor design and broken incentives.

I'll introduce Carpoolin, a New Zealand-built platform designed for everyday travel, and unpack the design, safety, and business model choices behind it.

And we’ll wrap up by taking questions from the audience.

Seating is first in first served.
