Why Cry? – Story Week 2023
Event description
WHY CRY?
Story Week: Be Heard – Be Seen
You choose a moment to write about. You read it out and the tears start flowing. Is this healthy and cathartic? Is it too public? Some people cry watching The Simpson’s Movie or when they hear of a helicopter crash on the news. What are absolute trigger topics? If we’re giving warnings at readings, should we be giving trigger warnings for TV shows, plays, books?
CONVERSATIONALIST: Dai Moret
PERFORMING WRITERS: Dylin Hardcastle and Madhuraa Prakash
