Rep. Judy Chu represents the 27th Congressional District, which includes Pasadena and the west San Gabriel Valley. Rep. Chu was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in July 2009. She currently serves on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over legislation pertaining to taxes, revenues, Social Security, and Medicare. As a member of the Subcommittees on Health and Worker and Family Support, she has oversight over healthcare reform and crucial safety net programs.

Rep. Katie Porter represents the 45th Congressional District in Orange County, California. Rep. Porter is a member of the House Oversight and Reform Committee and Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Government Operations. As a member of the House Natural Resources Committee, she works to protect beaches and public lands, elevate science-based solutions to the climate crisis, and keep Orange County families safe from wildfires.
