Whyte Lecture 2026
Description
This year’s Whyte Lecture marks the International Council on Archives’ Declaration on LGBTQI+ and Sex-Affective and Gender Diversity Archives and Archivists. Reflecting on the Declaration’s call for LGBTQIA+ communities to be recognised as co-authors of their own histories, Elliot considers what responsibilities archivists have in supporting queer communities to preserve, share, and shape their histories at a time of growing hostility towards queer and trans people.
Guests will enjoy canapés, beverages and networking opportunities.
