Wicking Bed Demonstration and Workshop

A WICKING BED a fantastic self-watering garden bed that has a built-in reservoir of water underneath the soil. The water then wicks up into the soil, providing the plants with the water they need, without any evaporation loss, automatic reticulation or under/over-watering. The plants just draw up what they need. It's so cool! 

We want to show you how you can make one yourself so we're running a workshop. 

These wicking beds can be as big or small as you want! You can use recycled materials, which makes it really cost effective.

At the workshop you will get lots of instructions as well as seeing the demonstration, and you can bring your own containers to make yours up on the day.

We will also have a sausage sizzle going, and plants for sale.
