Double the line up, double the fun with “Hello! We’re The Wiggles” Live in Concert!

Following the runaway success of last year winning the converted ARIA for ‘Best Live Act’ The Wiggles are bringing their all singing, all dancing stage show hit to a venue near you!

Hello! We’re The Wiggles will run from March through to June of this year featuring hit songs ‘Do the Propeller!’, ‘Hot Potato’ and ‘Rock-a-Bye Your Bear’ plus new favourites that will have you up and dancing along such as ‘We’re all Fruit Salad’, ‘Getting Strong!’ with John and get ready to feel the sunflower power with ‘Hey Tsehay!’

Anthony, Tsehay, Simon, Lachy, Caterina, Lucia, Evie & John will be joined on stage by all your favourite characters including Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, Shirley Shawn the Unicorn and Bok the Hand Puppet!

The Hewitson Theatre, along with the entire STARplex complex, was officially opened in June 2000.

Owned by Trinity College and operated as a not-for-profit community centre, STARplex has something for everyone. STARplex is a friendly sports, training, arts and recreation provider offering quality lifestyle health and fitness experience for families in the northern community.

The Hewitson Theatre is a large, multipurpose facility that allows for flexible seating arrangements and set-ups. The Theatre uses modern sound, lighting and audio-visual equipment to best suit a variety of productions.

Hewitson Theatre can cater for a wide range of functions, including conventions and seminars, drama and musical performances, cabaret shows, dance and youth theatre, graduations and presentation nights, exhibitions and trade fairs, business and social functions, parties, weddings, and more!

The Theatre’s seating capacities are as follows:

1,200 Theatre style
550 Cabaret/Banquet style
1,500 Cocktail style

Due to the flexible seating and auditorium, and associated equipment (push-up drape system), the Theatre can be configured into a variety of multi-purpose and more intimate room modes.

In addition to the Hewitson Theatre, STARplex has a variety of other smaller spaces/rooms available for hire.

The Hewitson Theatre boasts a wide main stage and large wing spaces, with front and rear manual black curtains. A large downstairs Green Room space with private changing spaces, mirrors and toilets, plus additional Green Room and side rooms, provide significant backstage or preparation spaces, most with stage feed capabilities.

Hewitson Theatre offers a range of conventional and intelligent lighting systems, with ChamSys Lighting Control. Audio facilities are driven by an Allen & Heath Avantis Audio Console with Dante and include a variety of associated microphones and cabling/patching. The Theatre offers various video facilities, including a ‘back of house’ stage feed to most backstage areas, two projectors either side of stage, PTZ camera, Roland studio system and various patch points and cabling available.
