Wild Baskets Mandala Weaving

In this workshop, participants will work with a pre-made plaster centre piece, prepared and ready with drilled holes. The day will begin with a relaxed morning painting session (9.30am–11.45pm), where you can paint your mandala centrepiece, inspired by your own creativity in colour, symbolism, or whatever intention arises naturally.

We will have a lunch break 11.45-12.45.

When we return to the studio we will complete the artwork by weaving a circular mandala form using a variety of natural fibres. The weaving process is gentle and meditative, with the final size of each piece determined organically as the work unfolds.

As the day falls on the eve of Mother’s Day, this workshop offers a beautiful opportunity to attend together. A thoughtful and meaningful experience to share with your mother, or a heartfelt gift to honour the nurturing bonds in your life.
