Micro Storytelling: Every Tiny Tale Holds a Universe

We’re thrilled to welcome creative powerhouse and long-time storyteller Jason van Genderen to our next Wild Fig breakfast – and you won’t want to miss this one.

Jason’s talk, Micro Storytelling: Every Tiny Tale Holds a Universe, will explore how to uncomplicate your brand’s story, humanise your messaging, and transform even the smallest details into story-rich content. You'll discover the power of saying more with less – including how to express your story in just six words.

This session is designed to inspire you to see storytelling through a new lens and make your brand message more relatable, memorable and human. Whether you’re a solopreneur or leading a team, these simple storytelling principles can have a powerful impact.

Jason brings four decades of experience in creative industries – from founding his own agency, Treehouse Creative, to pioneering smartphone filmmaking for TV and film, and now running his micro-agency 11eleven. He’s also the creator behind the global viral series Everybody’s Oma, which became an acclaimed feature documentary, and you may have even seen his family appear in Bluey!

With his unique blend of creativity, storytelling magic, and lived experience, Jason promises an engaging, thought-provoking session that will leave you seeing your brand – and your story – in a whole new light. We hope you’ll join us for what’s sure to be a memorable morning.
