Wild Fig Service Alliance – Building a Prosperous Future for the Central Coast, with Mayor Lawrie McKinna

Join us for a special Wild Fig breakfast as we welcome Central Coast Mayor Lawrie McKinna for an update on the future direction of our region.

In this session, Mayor McKinna will share insights into the strategic plans guiding the Central Coast’s growth and the work being undertaken to prepare the region for an expanding population. From investment in community infrastructure and improvements to development assessment processes, to stronger regional partnerships that support education, economic development and advocacy, Lawrie will outline the initiatives designed to position the Central Coast for long-term prosperity.

Many will already know Lawrie through his long-standing involvement in sport, business and community leadership. A former professional footballer and award-winning coach, he is widely credited with establishing the Central Coast Mariners and has held leadership roles across football administration, regional development and local government. Today, he brings that same focus on teamwork and community to his role as Mayor of the Central Coast.

This breakfast will provide an opportunity to hear directly from the Mayor about the opportunities and challenges ahead for our region, and what they mean for the local business community.
