The Journey to Becoming NSW Business of the Year

Presented by Graeme Sheekey, Director of Operations, Chamberlain Group

What does it really take to become NSW Business of the Year?

As Graeme Sheekey will reveal, this level of success doesn't happen overnight. It's the result of years of strategic planning, continuous improvement, investment in people and a shared commitment to excellence.

Fresh from Chamberlain Group's outstanding achievement in winning both 2026 NSW Business of the Year and Excellence in International Business, Graeme will take us behind the scenes of the company's remarkable transformation over the past decade, culminating in its purpose-built advanced manufacturing facility at Somersby.

Drawing on real examples, Graeme will share how Chamberlain benchmarked itself against the world's best, established a clear vision, embedded continuous improvement, developed a growth mindset and expanded into international markets. He'll also reveal the planning, preparation, teamwork and external support that went into its award-winning journey.

This is a rare opportunity to hear firsthand how long-term vision, disciplined execution and the right people can transform a business into an industry leader, with practical insights that members and guests can apply to their own organisations.
