"Wild Feasts for a New Age" featuring Forage to Feast
Event description
Trolley'd on the Terrace presents "Wild Feasts for a New Age" featuring the dynamic Forage to Feast duo Diego Bonetto & Marnee Fox.
There is no better time to reevaluate our connection to nature, to learn about the importance of seasonal and local produce, and to enjoy a delicious and thoughtfully prepared food and drink degustation in the company of like-minded individuals.
This "Wild Feasts for a New Age" series begins as a collaboration between renowned forager and environmental educator Diego Bonetto, the movers and shakers behind the sustainable drinks and events company Trolley'd, and stylish chef, designer, foodie and weed convert Marnee Fox.
We begin our day with a walk around the grounds learning the what, where and how of wild edibles with Diego Bonetto a.k.a "The Weedy One". Diego's "Wild Stories, a Forager's Guide' Booklets will be handed out to all ticket holders. After enjoying the tour, we meet back on the terrace of Wild Ducks to enjoy a 'Wild Punch' and some local organic, wild foraged and native Australian cocktails (& mocktails) designed by sustainable mixologist Byron Woolfrey at the aeronautically engineered Trolley'd bar.
Whilst enjoying our drinks, we will further the conversation about the edible plant world that surrounds us. How can we incorporate more health, peace and connection into our lives by paying attention to the seasons, the natural cycles of nature, obtaining knowledge and practising thoughtful consumption?
This will be followed by a relaxing afternoon on the Wild Ducks terrace with spectacular views of the Wingecarribee Dam. Guests will enjoy an 8 course degustation matched with drinks carefully curated by Trolley'd. Tables will be stylishly presented in a magazine worthy display paying homage to a wild food and foraged feast atmosphere, and a food, drink and knowledge based event that you will never forget.
This is an exclusive private lunch offered to family & friends of the organisers.
