Wild Kids at Western Sydney Parklands - Winter 2023
What happens in a park in Winter - and what do you need to know to find your way around?
Learn the basics of orienteering with us and test your skills on a treasure hunt through the park whilst meeting some of its inhabitants along the way.
Our friendly and experienced team of Education Rangers will guide children to experience the outdoors through a variety of activities including:
- Introduction to the basics of orienteering and mapping (BOLTS and Mud Mapping)
- Nature walk with a bug hunt
- Making a treasure map and finding natures treasures
- Making an ephemeral art work from natural materials
Two hours of Nature Play and outdoor!
