Beat the summer heat at Lizard Log with two hours of outdoor science fun! Packed with games, challenges and discovery, this adventure is all about learning through play.

As Splash Scientists, kids will explore the unique habitats of Lizard Log including Grey Box Dam and uncover how water helps plants and animals survive. Then it’s time to get creative: working together, children will design and build their very own water obstacle course using natural and sustainable materials.

And of course, no water adventure would be complete without a splashy game (or two!) for plenty of laughs. No drop of water goes to waste as we help water the parklands and keep the plants growing!

Activities include:

Water discovery walk – explore the unique habitats of Lizard Log

Water obstacle course – think and plan your own obstacle course using sustainable and natural materials.

Water games – splash, play and cool off with a fun water game!

It’s a session filled with exploration, hands-on activities, and plenty of chances to cool off while having a blast.

This program is suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years.

Please note: Our programs are primarily child-led nature play experiences. Whilst we have planned themes, children co-create the program each day and may not engage in scheduled activities.
