    Event description

Get wild with us and move your bodies!

Wild Movement is a 15-minute physical activity for all ages who want to expend a bit of energy, become mindful, and connect to nature. Join us as we move our bodies to become trees, wombats, kangaroos, and birds. We'll go from high energy to nature-mindfulness in the time allotted.

    • Sessions will occur at 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 4:00 pm and run for 15-minutes each.
    • We will meet near the Sustainability Lane area of the Festival. Look for the A-frame sign indicating the Wild Movement meeting place.

This activity is being facilitated by the Sustainable Environment team as part of the CoW Community Festival scheduled for Sunday 19 March.
Held within Council’s Civic Centre and Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre in South Morang, the festival will have loads of free entertainment for the whole family with live performances, free activities, a dedicated youth stage, a sustainability alley, market stalls, and delicious foods. We will also be launching Council's Sustainable Environment Strategy. Learn more here.

Contact sustainability.planning@whittlesea.vic.gov.au with questions or to view the full series schedule.

The City of Whittlesea Council acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, the Wurundjeri Willum Clan and Taungurung Peoples and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
