Wild Pollinators and Beneficial Insects
Event description
Wildthings and the Mornington Peninsula Shire are collaborating with the Port Phillip and Western Port Catchment Management Authority and the Mornington Peninsula Landcare Network to hold a presentation on the importance of native beneficial insects and pollinators with a number of leading researchers.
Come along and learn about the contribution native pollinators make to your farm and the environment and what you can do on your property to encourage these important insects.

Currently focusing on the challenge of maintaining biodiversity in landscapes dedicated to agricultural production.
Dr. Julian Brown (Australian National University)
Currently investigating the role and management of native pollinators in agricultural landscapes as part of the Securing Pollination project.
