Explore your kinship with nature, shake out your pelt, ruffle your feathers, sharpen your claws, and stretch your branches. The Wild Presence Sacred Nature Course is a powerful, joyful, interactive and experiential program under the guidance of the old wise woman of the land and the council of trees. With group and individual processes, sacred ceremony, connecting with the spirit of plants, animals, minerals, tracing stories hidden within the landscape, embodied movement, connecting with the mythic realm and Other World, land based meditation journeys, dream work and wild conversations.

Module 2 - Tuesday October 26

Restorying the land and body. Listening for the old and new stories that anchors you more deeply with soul, spirit and land. How to notice beyond the habitual, transforming the anthropocentric view. Living in dynamic reciprocity. Ceremonies of honouring and blessing. Deep imaginal journeying with tree and the Council of Trees.

Module 3 - Tuesday November 2

Becoming animal. Deep imaginal journey work and embodied movement. Connecting with animal allies and developing reciprocal relationships. Listening and speaking with and for them. Meditation with ancient wise ones such as whale, eagle, snake, bee, dragon to learn their perspectives of earth changes.

Module 4 - Tuesday November 9

Connecting with roots and fungal systems for communication, renewal, and decay. Ecological weaving and the web of life. Deepening into a greater ‘belonging’. Becoming plant. Exploring plant and flower spirit as well as devic energies, through deep imaginal journey work and plant meditation.

Becoming mineral. Exploring earth elementals, the energies and patterns of consciousness of rock, crystal. Meditation journey. Connecting with the elements.

Experiencing the wisdom and guidance of insects such as dragonfly and butterfly and the air elementals. Becoming bird, a deep imaginal journey of connection.

Module 7 - Tuesday November 30

Ceremony. Soul gifts. Connecting with the cosmos; moon, stars and planets, and the cycles of deep time. Working with the full moon energy today. Living in kinship. Meeting the call of the earth.

An interactive and experiential workshop with sacred sound, light body activations, meditation journeys, and ancient rhythms.

JANELLE RANDALL-COURT
Connecting with Country and Culture

Come and share in a rich and inspiring conversation with Bundjalung woman Janelle Randall-Court, who will be sharing some of her experiences and relationships with country and culture. As one of the stolen generation children, she brings in a deep understanding of how to navigate ‘home’ and belonging, amid displacement and loss. Janelle invites awareness of the complexities of identity amid multiculturalism and the celebration of Culture within our very contemporary societies. She shares important stories of reconnection, grief and resiliency to open our hearts and minds to greater understanding of Aboriginal people and their need for healing.

Janelle will also share how she promotes cultural and environmental awareness in local communities, in particular how waste and landfill impacts on flora and fauna, such as the satin bower bird. As a dancer, creatrix and passionate advocate of her Culture and Country, she weaves all these together to educate and inspire people in a profound tending of the land.

This Master Class will be part conversation, stories and a transmission of hope for collaboration and understanding of Aboriginal people. You will also have the opportunity to create a clay coolamon, a metaphoric and literal ‘vessel’.

JACQUI BUSHELL has been loving the wild abundance of the earth for much of her life. Founder of the Sacred Presence School of Embodied Wisdom and creator of the Magdalene Oils of Anointing, she is an inspiring teacher, storyteller, transformational healing practitioner, Reiki teacher and plant spirit alchemist. For 30 years, Jacqui has been facilitating women’s circles, workshops, training programs and retreats around the world, to enhance a deep sense of belonging through reconnecting with nature and the sacred feminine. Jacqui inspires people to live passionately and creatively, in communion with the earth, spirit and their soul wisdom.

JANE ELWORTHY

Shamanic teacher and practitioner, sound healer, performer and channel of the Hathor and Pleiadian energies, Jane’s mission is to help people remember their true divine nature through the power of sound, rhythm and light code reactivation. She works internationally as a teacher, retreat facilitator, performer and sacred sound channel. After a profound awakening experience, she was called strongly to the ancient women’s instrument, the Frame Drum, and has been a master drum maker, frame drummer and Rhythmbody teacher for over 30 years.

Her work is experiential, often playful and profoundly transformational, encouraging people to embody their voice and authentic power. Jane anchors you back home again, in your body and sacred self, connected with spirit and earth, able to live your fullest potential.

JANELLE - RANDALL-COURT

I am a Bundjalung women, having lived in the Blue Mountains for around 40 years. I have connected to Blue Mountains Traditional Aboriginal owners over many years and hence work with local Aboriginal people in mainly Cultural and Environmental education. I come from a strong Dance background and am now working on a local Dance production for the 15 year celebration of World Heritage listing for the Blue Mountains. My passion is to educate others about Landfill issues by using Art to educate and engage others in the process.

During her career as an Aboriginal discovery ranger Janelle had the opportunity to share and deliver Aboriginal cultural information, traditions and cultural messages to thousands of National Parks Visitors and Blue Mountains school children. Her passion and experience in sustainability and in educating children about Aboriginal people and the management of Country gives Janelle the opportunity to develop new ways to discuss the growing global issue of waste and ways to manage it sustainably. Janelle has made it her life’s work to educate others about sustainability; recycling, reusing and cleaning up country and Treasures Dance Performance is the most recent of Janelle’s dreams that has come to life on stage.
