WILD SONG INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP — $75 

There’s a natural upliftment & empowering inspiration that unfolds as women come together in creative spaces, with all of our experience and collective wisdom.

In this 'Wild Song' Men’s & Women’s series, the normalness of emotional & creative suppression, from childhood and past life experiences, is vocalised, and re-written for a new chapter of liberated expression.

It is an opportunity to tune into our profound intuitive wisdom & immense capacity for unconditional self love. We do this through the joyful portal of vocal silliness, vocal technique, song, playful freestyle, energetic self mastery and psychic 'knowing'. We access new realms of self acceptance of our own, very unique, wise and powerful voices.

THERE IS AN (OPTIONAL) INVITATION FOR THE WOMEN & MEN TO COME TOGETHER AFTER THE MENS WORKSHOP, FOR DINNER & FIRESIDE SONG, SHARING AND SILLINESS.

This introductory workshop is part of a series where the women are invited to do our work together, then you have the option to join together with the men following the Men’s workshop & Fire Ceremony on Sat 14 September at The Temple in Bawley Point.

You are welcome to invite your family to come together for dinner after the Men’s Session, flowing into a fireside evening of song, spoken word, freestyles & silliness around the fire. More on this at the bottom.

SO WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS WORKSHOP

What does freedom mean to you?

Is it something that you experience when all the conditions of your life, or the world, are just right… or can you access it within your body & heart now, expressing your raw authenticity in song, communication, truth & spontaneous childlike expression?

Irrespective of my external life situation, harmonious or otherwise... in my own experience, freedom is my personal responsibility, and an inside job.

For me, this has been 10 years shifting te patterns of bottling my emotions, suppressing my truth, avoiding conflict, repressing my quirky nature, cringing at my singing & speaking voice, shame, guilt, fraud, self criticism, and leaking my power to others opinions.

This sift is unfolding through radical self acceptance, disassembling people pleasing & comparisons… allowing the possibility of loving my voice & allowing ridiculousness, to singing freely, song writing, (attempting) freestyling, performing, teaching… and learning to re-parent my ‘little-me’.

WILD SONG EMBODIED VOCAL PRACTICES ALLOW US TO :

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED

You do not need to be a singer or musician, or have any singing experience… you need only have a desire to experience more freedom, peace, connection and creative inspiration.

The deeply satisfying part of this work is seeing how it can transform relationships, inspire our kids, and bring more creativity into our world… essential for our humanity.

I'll also be sharing a little of the science of sound as medicine, how it can be used to reset your energy and ancestral patterns, to communicate effectively, to influence what you attract into your life, and, to tune into your natural creative gold.

Integrating 10 years of experience with Clinical Bowen Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation, Sound Healing, Energy Work, Performance Mentoring and Music.

THE INTENTION:

– PLAYFUL VOCAL FREEDOM

We’ll use sound and playful tools to explore internal stories such as ‘Too loud’, Too much’, ‘Can’t sing’, 'Not creative’, ‘Too Sensitive’, ’Too aggressive’, ‘Too Shy’, ’Too Weird'. These sessions are quite hilarious and work powerfully & playfully to re-write subconscious limiting programs, so that we can open to our full vocal range and unapologetic self expression.

-  REPATTERNING LIMITING SELF BELIEFS, SELF CRITICISM & PERFECTIONISM

That voice within has untapped wisdom, even the critical voice. We explore those voices, or internal characters that are ready for an upgrade through sound, song & play, to rewrite family & ancestral patterns that aren’t supporting full creative freedom & truth

– INTUITIVE EXPLORATION

Learn to use sound and visualisation to balance your body & energy, ‘hear' the dialogue of your environment through your body, and explore your vocal capabilities to open radical self acceptance.

You’ll experience easy techniques to explore your full vocal range, free flow, body percussion, finding your 'home note' and loving your unique voice. You’ll also experiment with ‘hearing’ the songs of nature and receiving information through your energetic & intuitive senses.
