Wild Nature Weaving Workshop

In this hands-on 2-hour workshop, discover the calming rhythm of weaving with natural materials gathered from the bush. With mentor Kim to guide you, you’ll learn how to prepare and weave with grasses, reeds, and fibres sourced from the landscape.

Explore simple techniques used for centuries to create functional and decorative pieces, while connecting with the textures, scents, and sounds of the natural world around you. It’s a mindful, creative way to slow down and reconnect with the materials nature provides.

Expect to get a little earthy as you twist, knot, and weave your creation; each piece unique to your own hands and the land it came from.

What you’ll take home: your own small woven piece and the confidence to keep exploring wild weaving at home.
