This holistic and restorative day retreat will be set amongst the bushland of Ku-ring-gai-Chase National Park and include a rich variety of creative and embodied practices led by Artist Bianca Yrure and Senior Zenthai Therapist and Teacher Sonia Brown. Be inspired to return to your unique artistic expression as your guided in nature drawing, giving/receiving Zenthai Shiatsu and an exploration of nature's beauty. Guests will enjoy a nourishing vegetarian lunch crafted from organic produce, warming chai tea and delicious snacks throughout the day.

Come for a full or half day and learn to reconnect with nature, develop a new sensibility towards self and an awakened capacity for living a full and embodied life.

YOGA

Start the day with a Zenthai yoga flow under the trees with Sonia. Experience mindful movement to release stress, get grounded and enhance creativity. In this session you will restore balance and calm to your body, mind and spirit.

ART + NATURE CONNECTION

Bianca will guide you to draw in your individual style over a 2 hour session, as you refine your observational eye and gain confidence in your artistic abilities, whilst recording impressions of the environment. Your natural approach to drawing will be enhanced as you drop into the body and out of the mind with a sensory bushwalking meditation. This drawing workshop is about getting curious, noticing and slowing down to find connection and belonging to our environment and selves. All materials will be provided.

ZENTHAI SHIATSU

The art of Zenthai Shiatsu will be led by Sonia in a 2 hour session that will leave you feeling deeply present with your body. The curated movement sequence in both giving and receiving will focus on releasing tension in the lower back and replenishing the kidneys. In line with the season of Autumn, we will be restoring and cleansing the systems that can otherwise stagnate with the dry and cool weather. Zenthai Shiatsu is a movement style inspired by Eastern philosophy, Qigong, yoga asana and Chinese medicine.

This retreat will be limited to an intimate group of 20 participants. Half day ticket options are available to attend either the Art or Zenthai portion of the day (lunch included).

Practical information to ensure your comfortability

Please bring:

- yoga mat
- 1L drink bottle (we will supply extra water to re fill as there is no potable water on this bushland property).
- enclosed shoes
- hat
- sunscreen
- comfortable attire (long sleeves encouraged as we will be outside most of the day).

Location: 304 McCarrs Creek Rd, Terrey Hills NSW

Parking is limited onsite, please allow extra time to arrive early and find your way. Follow the signage onsite that leads you down and around the turning circle. Overflow parking is across the road at an empty lot by the Fire Brigade sign. This site is partially wheelchair accessible, speak to your hosts to find out more.

Disclaimer: Weather permitting this will be an outdoor retreat with an alternative indoor space onsite to be used in wet weather. In the case that the hosts choose to cancel the event due to severe weather all tickets will be fully refunded and the event postponed for a later date.
