Wildflower Garden Bushcare
Event description
The Wildflower Garden sits on the very edge of suburbia and forms part of Black Hill Conservation Park, home to a range of species of conservation significance.
We protect the integrity of this home, by removing environmental weeds. Being on the edge of suburbia, there is always work to do due the "edge effect": that interface between our homes, and the homes of our native plants and animals.
Come and help make a difference by preventing invasive weeds take hold in Black Hill Conservation Park.
Despite being close to the city, the area we will be working in is quite rugged.
Please wear suitable enclosed footwear, long trousers and long sleeves.
We will break for morning tea about 10:30am. so bring a snack. Hot water will be available in the Addison Ave building where there are also toilets.
