Wildflowers in Watercolour - Kings Park Education Centre
Event description
Join us at Kings Park during the September Wildflower Festival for a peaceful and playful painting session inspired by Western Australia’s stunning native flora.
Spring brings a breathtaking display of wildflowers to the WA bushland, and in this beginner-friendly class, you’ll have the chance to capture their beauty on paper using a beautiful ink and watercolour technique. This method combines fine pen linework with soft, expressive watercolour washes—perfect for highlighting the delicate forms and vibrant colours of native flowers.
Surrounded by the natural beauty of Kings Park and guided by local Perth artist Ellie Biggs, you'll spend two hours learning techniques, experimenting with materials, and expressing your creativity in a relaxed setting.
No experience? No problem! Whether you're painting solo or coming with friends, this class is all about enjoyment, learning something new, and creating your own floral masterpiece.
