Description

Roots of Play will be collaborating with Wildsole to bring you a workshop like no other. Where you will have the opportunity to move and play in your very own pair of Wildsole sandals from day one!

Learn about barefoot walking and how these shoes can support movement in all weathers and then put them to the test with a walk/run around a beautiful reservoir with some fun trees to begin to explore!

Sunday we head to the trees for some tree-climbing, dance and playfight in the woods!

We will be exploring the deep ecosomatic layers of our experience, diving into how we can move through and with our environment to discover more possibilities for movement in the spaces around us — helping us see the playground of opportunity that exists everywhere. Participants will gain a wealth of knowledge in partner practices drawn from martial arts and dance traditions.

Finally, we will explore the world as a community of minds, working together to playfully discover how we can solve problems and overcome challenges through movement and collaboration.

Refund policy

Ordering Goods and Services You may place an order for the purchase of goods or services offered by Roots of Play through the payment method listed on the relevant page. All orders are subject to availability. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. The personal information you provide will be used only in the course of business. All prices are set on their individual pages or will be sent, in writing prior to payment being made. Intellectual Property All rights (including copyright) in the content and materials provided to you on the Online Store (including all films, videos, images, photographs, instructions, feedback, voice recordings and other communications in any form) are owned by Roots of Play. You agree not to distribute, reproduce and/or otherwise disseminate such materials and/or pass them off as your own without the prior written consent of Roots of Play. Roots of Play will take appropriate legal action for any illegal or unauthorised use of the MA Materials. Cancellation and refund policy We can offer a 50% refund of the full amount paid for retreats or workshops if cancelled more than 30 days prior to the retreat or workshop starting. There is no possibility of refund or cancellation when purchasing workshops or retreats within 30 days of the start date of the workshop/retreat. However, you may find a substitute to attend in your place, provided you notify us by emailing rootsofplay@gmail.com at least 14 days prior to the event. In some cases, payment from one workshop or retreat may be transferred across to another future event in agreement with the event organisers. This must be agreed to, in writing, by emailing rootsofplay@gmail.com For all online programmes, there is no possibility of cancellation or refund. In the event of an event cancellation, participants will be refunded the full amount paid, minus any website handling fees. Retreats and Workshops The Roots of Play team reserves the right to remove any participant that they deem to be behaving in a way which puts themselves, other participants or the Roots of Play team at risk. Workshops and retreats must be paid for in full in advance of the start date. Information regarding the location, start times and travel information may be delayed due to payments not having been made in full. Your information Information collected through Squarespace for the retreats and workshops will be held in a secure location and will be destroyed 2 years after the final date of the retreat. Information is recorded for safety purposes only and will not be passed on to any third party without written consent being made prior. If you would liek your information removed from our database please make a written request, with your full name to rootsofplay@gmail.com Final Provisions You declare that you have familiarised yourself with these terms and conditions before submitting the order to us and that you agree with them. The terms have been formulated and established in good faith to govern the legal relationship between Roots of Play and you. If any competent authority should determine that any one or more of these Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions of this Agreement. These terms and conditions are effective as of January 2026
