Will Ellerton Trio

Will Ellerton is a Melbourne-based, Brisbane-born pianist with a deep passion and respect for improvised music. Alongside esteemed bandmates and friends Connor Perkins on the upright bass and Sam Scully on drums, this performance will feature original compositions, extended improvisations and a few choice covers. After completing his Honours year at the Queensland Conservatorium last year, Will has been spending time in Melbourne pursuing his contemporary jazz influence. Drawing from the sonic worlds of artists such as Chris Abrahams, Taylor Deupree, Herbie Hancock, Brian Eno and more, the trio looks forward to a night of expressive, honest, and incredibly fun music.
