Willow Ball Weaving Workshop

Willow Balls are a lovely rustic ornament that can be easy to make once you know the technique! They are perfect to use as a base for Christmas decorations but look equally pretty hung in the garden all year round. In this workshop, learn how to weave Willow branches into balls and wreathes for display. Add embellishments to make it your own.

Students to bring: Gardening gloves and secateurs if you have them. All tools and materials will be provided but if you want to bring along any willow or flax to weave with, rocks or ornaments to add to your willow balls, then you can incorporate this into your work. If you would like to protect your clothes, please bring an apron or tea towel to put over your lap.
