ABOUT THE CLASS
Craft a wonderful willow star with Hannah from Willow & Gorse Basketry!
In these hands-on, festive workshops, you'll learn traditional willow weaving techniques to create a classic Scandi-style star to decorate your home or give as a gift.
Session Options:
Morning Session (10:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Open to all ages. Craft a classic Scandi-style willow star! £30pp
Afternoon Session (1:30 PM – 3:30 PM)
Partially funded session for ages 16–24. Craft a classic Scandi-style willow star! £10pp
Details:
Group Size: Max 8 participants per session for plenty of individual guidance.
Materials: All tools and willow are provided.
As the morning session is self-funded, it is subject to a minimum group size to go ahead.
ABOUT THE TUTOR
Hannah Humphreys is an ecologist and local basketmaker based near Tain.
Hannah established Willow & Gorse Basketry to share her passion for traditional crafts. Her workshops offer a supportive, friendly space where beginners can slow down, learn foundational techniques, and connect with natural materials.
