The Willow Broom Factory used to really clean up. But, after Cedwick Brash became manager, things seem to be cleaning out. Still, Missy Willow has been swept off her feet by the shop accountant, Elwood Dowel; and Sissy Willow wishes the same treatment from the earnest, but forgetful janitor, Dusty Corners. Owner Priscilla Willow is (and we don’t really know why) somewhat enamored of Mr. Brash, and is unaware of the affection the local sheriff holds for her. Add to all of this the comings and goings of neighbor Hattie, who has less eyesight than a bat in broad daylight. With those insights, we are sure you will enjoy this classic melodrama.
