Willow Wreath Workshop
Event description
In this workshop you'll how to weave a wreath out of willow and dogwood and decorating it using festive foraged materials.
The end product will be a beautiful wreath that you can take home and re-decorate multiple times over its years-long lifespan (we re-use our across the year and change the foliage seasonally!)
You will also learn about Winter Foraging and what materials are our there in nature that can be used for creativity.
This session is suitable for beginners, no weaving experience necessary. All equipment and materials provided.
This workshop is hosted by Max from Max Johnston basketry he is an expert weaver making items that are woven with nature at heart, always incorporating organically grown or foraged materials into his workshops and practise.

Gathering Ground is located along the Forth & Clyde Canal on Applecross Street. The venue's nearest tube station is Cowcaddens or St Georges Cross.
There is on street parking around the venue. The closest Nextbike Station is located on Garcube Road.
About the Venue
The workshop will take place in the upstairs workshop spaces. The venue is fully accessible & with a ramp from street & accessible lift to the first floor.
