We’re wrapping up 2025 with one of our favourite events — the Women in Media WA Annual Sundowner!
Join us for an evening of connection, conversation and inspiration, featuring a panel of WA-based storytellers who’ve built creative careers around their passion for travel. How did they do it — and could we?
Our panellists include:
✨ Fleur Bainger - award-winning freelance travel and lifestyle journalist published nationally and internationally.
✨ Carolyn Beasley - award-winning freelance travel and environment writer specialising in sustainable travel, nature and family adventures.
✨ Rachel Claire - Perth-based travel photographer capturing vibrant stories from around the world.
The discussion will be hosted by Women in Media’s own Kate Ferguson - journalist, video producer, photographer and drone pilot.
Plus, our Sundowner Raffle is back! Raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the night, and you could win your own WA getaway! Thanks to Seashells WA, our major prize is a two-night stay at your choice of Broome, Scarborough, Mandurah or Yallingup. All raffle proceeds support the WiM WA Mentoring Scholarship, helping a young WA media woman attend the 2026 Women in Media National Conference.
