Window Mosaics School Holiday Workshop
Event description
We'll help your kids harness the beauty of our long Summer days by helping them build gorgeous window mosaics to hang in your home or the garden.
With equal parts of science and art, children will build portable mosaics using an array of salvaged materials that will refract and tint the sunshine into either a rainbow or a monochrome artwork of their favourite colour. Kids can also experiment with layering different sheets of translucent colours to create their own hues.
Suitable for ages 4 to 12. Children with special needs must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Parents and carers are free!
About Reverse Garbage Queensland School Holidays Workshops
Our workshops demonstrate how to use clean industrial discards to create amazing works of art! Children will learn something new, think outside the box and take home a special creation they will love to play with!
Our experienced facilitators will suggest age appropriate ideas to challenge and engage participants.
Tickets cost $20 plus a small booking fee.
