Windsor Street Walk

Learn about your favourite neighbourhood nature spots from the people who care for them by joining a guided walk with City of Unley Biodiversity Staff for Nature Festival 2025.

Come for a walk along Windsor Street Linear Trail and learn how the City of Unley converted a concrete open drain into a native plant corridor that provides a unique linear trail for residents.

Connect with nature and discover this strip of habitat within our suburbs.

Hear about the indigenous plants that have been reintroduced to the area and learn how you can include certain elements to create a wildlife friendly garden at home.

Tours will be led by City of Unley staff from the Biodiversity and City Design teams. 

Event details:

• Meet at the corner of Marion Street and Windsor Street, Unley. 

• The walk will not be difficult but may be undulating or uneven in places. 

• The content is most suitable for adults and older children. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

• We encourage participants to use sustainable methods of transport to and from the event, i.e. walk, cycle, bus or car-pool.
