As local M&A activity picks up again, we are looking forward to discussing recent mining company deals and exploring ways in which both buyers and sellers can create significant value, with time allocated for an interactive Q&A session.

Our panel of guest speakers, include:

Christofer Catania - Chief Executive Officer at MEC Mining.
Anuj Timblo - Executive Director at Fomento Resources.

Christofer Catania joined the mining industry in 2005 as a mining engineer and has a high level of technical and operational expertise, as well as project management and leadership experience. His strategic and business planning focus enables him to develop safe, low cost and operationally optimal solutions to extract the best value from any asset or process. He has a strong passion for mentoring and developing teams with the same focus and versatility, delivering the best impact possible.

Anuj Timblo is a global entrepreneur in mineral resources and an experienced professional with a demonstrated history in the mining and metals industry, primarily focused on the iron ore value chain. Anuj is skilled in negotiation, technology, entrepreneurship, and management. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Communications with Minors in Business, Music, and Computer Science.

Catherine Costello is a strategically and commercially focused senior finance and corporate governance professional operating in high growth, listed Australian and multinational diversified and complex businesses. She has been active in a mix of for profit and community focused leadership roles. Catherine has extensive experience in all financial management, capital management (debt/equity), risk frameworks, regulatory and governance frameworks, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, business and financial due diligence, relational leadership, remuneration structuring and reporting and investor relations.
