Wine & Chocolate Walk
Event description
Guests are invited to stroll the grounds of the Linden Hill Historic Estate tasting wines from around the world paired alongside a variety of gourmet chocolates. Eventgoers will receive a passport and tasting glass upon entry, and then will be welcome to wander the estate receiving tastes of wine and chocolate at 6 different "country" stations.
The tasting stations will be open from 1pm-4pm with entry allowed until 3pm. Plan for about 45-minutes to an hour to complete the tasting. Event attendees are welcome to stick around after the tasting to order food and beverages in the Pavilion Patio Bar which will remain open until 5pm or later. The Patio Bar will feature wines by the glass, fall-inspired cocktails, hard ciders, seltzers, and locally crafted Starry-Eyed beer. Soft pretzels and cheese, charcuterie boxes and other snacks will also be available for purchase during the event.
Guests can stop by 'Bottle Shoppe' where bottles of wine will be available for purchase to take home from the event. This is a great time to stock up for holiday entertaining and gift giving! Also available for purchase will be bars of the featured Cardamom Milk Chocolate from Wildflower Chocolate in Nisswa, MN.
Tasting Tickets: $40/person in advance or $50 at the door.
VIP Tickets: $59/person in advance ONLY - LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE. VIPS will be allowed early entry for a special session where they will learn more about the featured wines and be treated to a special tasting. Guests will also receive an individual snack box and a coupon for 10% off Linden Hill merchandise (not applicable to wine bottle sales or food and drink sales in the pavilion).
*Admission Only Tickets: $10/person in advance or at the door for those who want to join for the event but DO NOT wish to participate in the wine and chocolate tasting portion of the event.
T-Shirts - New this year! Pre-order a Linden Hill Historic Estate T-Shirt to commemorate your visit. Pre-ordered T-shirts are $15/each, or get them while supplies last during the event for $20/each.
Lodging - Complete your experience at Linden Hill by booking a room in the fabulous Musser mansion. Double, triple, and quadruple occupancy rooms are available for booking with check-in available beginning at 4pm on the day of the event. Guests will have access to their private bedroom as well as the main gathering spaces throughout the home. A continental breakfast will be available Sunday morning for all overnight guests. Checkout is at 12pm.
This is a 21+ event. Guests must present a valid ID at the entrance gate.
*Guests with Admission Only tickets are welcome to join for the event but will not receive tastes of the wine or chocolates at the stations.
