Altitude: A Roving Degustation Celebrating Orange's Finest Cool-Climate Wines

Join us in celebrating the role of ‘altitude’ in our region's winemaking. Experience a wine & food menu that begins in the lofty snow-capped slopes of the mountain at 1000 meters, descending gracefully to the lush depths of the surrounding bushland at 630 meters. Meander through the spectacular landscape around Lake Canobolas, where each wine & food station along your journey offers a chance to meet some of the region’s finest producers.

Station 1: Entree
Indulge in the effervescence of See Saw Prosecco (700m) and Swift Cuvée (1000m), perfectly complemented by Printhie oysters and Arancia arancini.

Station 2: Entree
Awaiting your palate at the next station are two Rieslings from Cargo Road (860m) and Chalou (900m), accompanied by Trunkey Creek San Choy Bau from Nile Street Café.

Station 3: Entree
At 900 metres, savour a Swinging Bridge Chardonnay and Heifer Station Pinot Noir alongside a pea and mint pannacotta from Nile Street Café.

Station 4: Main Course
Enjoy a Chardonnay from Ross Hill (800m) and a Pinot Noir from Byrne Farm (850m) while enjoying a seated lunch of rainbow trout with samphire, potted shrimp, preserved lemon and ciabatta bread from the Lake Side Café.

Station 5: Dessert
The sweet finale to your culinary journey pairs Tamburlaine Reserve Syrah (630m) and Orange Mountain Shiraz/Viognier (900m) with Second Mouse cheese and Arancia cannoli.

And what's a feast without music? Our final lakeside station, nestled on the banks of Lake Canobolas, comes alive with the tunes of Clancy Pye. And what’s more: your ticket not only grants you access to this memorable roving degustation around the lake, but also includes convenient return transport from the heart of Orange.
