Celebrate peak fall colors in Mohican with Wine & Wander at the Castle, a guided walking tour through the enchanted grounds of Landoll’s Mohican Castle. This seasonal experience features five outdoor tasting stops, each showcasing a different wine region with perfectly paired cheeses, charcuterie, and gourmet accompaniments designed to hold up beautifully in the crisp autumn air.

Led by our sommelier and storyteller, your tasting journey includes:
A 3 oz. pour of each regional wine
2–3 carefully selected cheeses
Artisan cured meats
Fall-ready accompaniments like jams, pickles, nuts, crisps, and sweets

France
Wine: Crémant Rosé
Pairings: Brie wedge, aged Comté, French saucisson sec, fig jam, cornichons, and baguette crisps

Italy
Wine: Barbera d’Asti
Pairings: Parmigiano Reggiano, truffle Pecorino, Prosciutto, marinated artichokes, oil-cured olives, focaccia chips, and chocolate

Germany
Wine: Off-Dry Riesling
Pairings: Smoked summer sausage, Emmental cubes, beer mustard, Bavarian-style pretzel bites, pickled red cabbage slaw, and dark chocolate bites

California
Wine: Sonoma Zinfandel
Pairings: Dry Jack, Humboldt Fog, peppered salami, roasted red peppers, olive oil crostini, dried apricots, and candied pecans

Ohio
Wine: Ohio Apple Wine
Pairings: Sharp cheddar, smoked gouda, trail bologna, castle-made jam, rustic crackers, and mini pumpkin crisp

The tour concludes at the Crown & Cauldron Mercantile, where you’ll raise a final glass with a celebratory champagne toast and enjoy a touch of castle magic as the sun sets behind the autumn trees.
