Event description
Sixteen South Australian wineries invite you to taste their new release and 2023 vintage wines at Wine Debut at the Adelaide Zoo.
Soak in the spring evening and listen to the sounds of the animals as you sip wines from Balnaves of Coonawarra, Bremerton, Golding, Heartland, Kaesler, Karrawatta, Kimbolton, Knappstein, Levrier by Jo Irvine, Majella, Ministry of Clouds, Norfolk Rise, Ottelia & Taschini, Sorby Adams, Wangolina and XO Wine Co.
For a ticket price of only $25 (+ GST & booking fee) you will receive:
- Entry into the event, to be held on the central lawns inside the Adelaide Zoo, with live music and an amazing atmosphere
- A wine glass that is yours to keep
- An individual charcuterie box (all dietary requirements will be catered for)
- 2 tasting tokens randomly allocated to 2 wineries in attendance for you to redeem for a taste of their wine
Once your tasting tokens have been exchanged, wine is to be purchased directly from the wineries by the flight (several tastes), glass or bottle, and bottles can be packaged and taken home.
Wine Debut will be held on the central lawns inside the Adelaide Zoo*, on Friday 6 October, 5.30 pm until 8.30 pm.
Tickets are limited so getting in early is advised to avoid missing out.
Wine Debut is presented by the South Australian Wine Industry Association and Adelaide, a Great Wine Capital of the World. Development and delivery of this event is a part of the South Australian Wine Industry Development Program as administered by SAWIA and is only possible through the support and funding provided by the Government of South Australia through the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.
* The event is limited to the Adelaide Zoo central lawns and rotunda. You will not be given access to other areas of the Adelaide Zoo during this event.
