Luke continues hosting 4 intimate dinners featuring Winemakers or special sites that he knows and loves and this is where he will talk about their wines and their inspirations.
This is an intimate degustation dinner and 4 courses, with 8 wines where you will get an audience with some of the great people or places of the industry spanning history, influences and wine.
As always, the team at Scopri will be looking after us, and you, in their intimate Private dinner room upstairs at the restaurant in Carlton.
Luke Loves Tuscany having been before an fell in love, Tuscany is in central Italy. Liguria and Emilia-Romagna border it to the north, Lazio to the south, with Umbria and Marche to the east. The Tyrrhenian Sea lies to its west, bringing cool breezes, moderating growth across those famous hills.Tuscany is one of a handful of wine regions capable of delivering a lifetime of enjoyment from within its borders. So if you have only dipped your toe in, I would encourage you to jump in with both feet and fall in love with the bountiful array of wines that there are to discover. It’s not all about Sangiovese you know! We wil show a diverse range of wines, Cabernet, Veranaccia and Chardonnay might even make and apprerance. The wines are remarkable and idiosyncratic to this special place. rolling hills, olive trees, vineyards and ancient villages, think fresh acidity and sappy tannins.
Join us for a night with Luke as we taste the wines he loves. This will be a fantastic opportunity to taste an array of varieties throughout the evening all matched to some delicious Italian food.
