Event description
Kenvale College’s award-winning event, Winefest returns with a COVID Safe twist in 2020 for a night of food and wine tasting.
This same event will be a COVID safe event changing its name to WineTastingFest.
This event will be held at the venue of our main Sponsor, the Australian Turf Club, Royal Randwick Racecourse.
The event will create a sensory tour of wines from throughout Australia accompanied by food that is matched to the wines being served.
In 2019 Winefest won best training initiative at the Tourism Training Australia awards, for its innovative learning experience that highlights the students’ work, ability and skills gained at the College to put on a professional wine experience.
Kenvale College is Australia’s first not-for-profit private Hospitality College. Since 1994, Winefest has provided an opportunity for our Hospitality, Event Management and Commercial Cookery students to combine their talents to promote Australian wines matched with cocktail food at their themed stalls as well as showcasing the skills and knowledge they have acquired.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Unfortunately, persons under 18 are not permitted to enter the event. Kenvale College promotes Responsible Serving of Alcohol. In NSW, it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.
Who can attend this event?
Anyone from the general public is allowed to purchase tickets and attend this event as long as they are 18 and above.
Will there be photos and videos taken?
There will be a photographer taking photos in the evening. By booking a ticket to this event you acceptthat some photographs may be taken and used for Kenvale marketing purposes. If you would like to be excluded from photographs/videos, please notify us at the time of your booking.
