    Our Host:

The Rotary Club of Wahroonga: Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Within our community the Rotary Club of Wahroonga underpins a number of activities and charities, including these three essential services.

    Our beneficiaries:

KYDS Youth Development Service: KYDS provide barrier-free, easily accessed counselling, provided by approachable, non-judgmental professionals. No formal referrals from doctors or school staff are needed to see us. They are a free service and will work with young clients for as long as they need.

Streetwork: Streetwork aims to help vulnerable young people affected by destructive influences and behaviour to turn their lives around through Kickstart Mentoring Program (one-on-one mentoring). The 11 to 18-year-olds referred to our program struggle with mental health (often suicidal thoughts and self-harm), alcohol and substance misuse, social isolation, school or work disengagement, youth crime and at risk of youth homelessness.

FunDrum by Jim Jam Music: Fundrum program has been running since 2018 on Friday afternoons and is a wonderful musical and social class for teens and young adults with intellectual disabilities. Our Fundrum teachers are trained in the Drumbeat and African Drumming programs and have a passion for making music with neurodiverse children and young adults.

    Wine Women and Song Collective:

Three local women who share a love for music, community and giving back.
