Wings Over Warrnambool Conservation Education Network Session

Join us for an inspiring afternoon with Nicola Bail, Coordinator of the Southern Bent-wing Bat National Recovery Team and learn about the latest conservation efforts for this endangered species that calls Warrnambool home.

Delivered in partnership with Zoos Victoria and ResourceSmart Schools, this session will connect you with experts, practical teaching resources, and a ready-to-use unit plan to help students learn about and take action for local biodiversity.

You'll leave with:

• The latest insights into the Southern Bent-wing Bat and its conservation status

• Classroom resources and teaching materials from Zoos Victoria

• A curriculum-linked unit plan for a range of year levels

• Connections with local educators, conservation experts and environmental organisations that can support your teaching programs

• Support to become a ResourceSmart School – registration is free, takes just a few minutes, and comes with access to valuable resources, sustainability initiatives, and ongoing assistance for your school.
