Winning from the Waikato 2026

As part of Techweek26, Aotearoa’s biggest celebration of technology and innovation, the Tech in the Tron project and HIKO Hub at the University of Waikato are once again hosting Winning from the Waikato.

The event is on Tuesday 19 May at The Pā on the University of Waikato’s Hamilton campus, starting at 8:00am and going through until midday.

We’re planning various programme elements and a focus on networking that creates genuine engagement amongst attendees, kanohi ki te kanohi.

The morning will include a series of sharp 10-minute segments from tech leaders followed by an extended networking break. To close out the event, we’re introducing a segment dedicated to workforce development, attraction and retention.
