Kia ora everyone!

Following the success of the first open studio art therapy for mum and child in April 2025, I am excited to host a similar workshop but with improved design.

Come join me for a 1.5hr creative and fun session where we get to make art and engage in therapeutic conversations between you and your child. Who knows - we may learn a thing or two that surprises us about ourselves and our children?

Theme

Open studio encourages participants to create anything that comes to mind. However, if you like to work on a theme, the theme for this round is Our Superpowers! What are your and your child's superstrengths that help you in times of challenge (maybe like the bitter winter)? How does that make you, you?

Location

I'm bringing the workshop to the heartlands. It will be held at Rolleston Playcentre (Rolleston Reserve, end of Wordsworth Street, Rolleston 7614, NZ). Rolleston Town Centre is just around the corner. Plenty of parking spaces at the venue.

Kindly note that at this venue, the tables and chairs are kid-friendly. Mummies and Daddies are welcome to use them or sit on the floor if that's better for you.

Age group (for children)

This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 and above.

Cost

Each ticket is for 1 parent-child pair. It costs $35.00 + Humanitix booking/admin fee.

Other information

Art materials are provided for. No art skills needed.
