Winter Ball Weekend Workshops

The Hobart Winter Ball has something for everyone*. If you're a dancer of another dance genre or you've done some Scottish dancing in the past but don't have time to get to regular classes, you can learn some of the easier dances on the Ball program and dance those on the night while still paying a Spectator-price ticket. The Spectator ticket includes all of the non-dancing benefits, a Piper to greet you at the door, entry in the Grand March, welcome beverage and champagne toast and, of course, the sumptuous supper! These workshops are designed to give those who don't dance Scottish regularly the opportunity to have some fun on the dance floor at this wonderfully exciting event. Some dancing experience (of any genre) and a moderate fitness level is useful.
