Event description

Some birds are traveling south for the winter, but most of the pretty ones are still here! This event is a collaboration with the Tippy Audubon Society where attendees will learn about methods and tools to observe and identify birds. Beginner birders are especially encouraged to attend! Understand the expected changes in the local bird population during the course of a year.

The speakers at this event are Suzanne Beyeler and Dave Hicks. Suzanne is an Associate Professor of Biology and Environmental Science at the Indiana Institute of Technology, and Dave is an Associate Professor Emeritus at Manchester University. Dave is also the organizer of the Tippecanoe Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Learn how the bird population changes in the local area from summertime to wintertime, and what birds are expected to be seen during the winter in different local habitats.

This event is sponsored by DePuy Synthes and the Zimmer Biomet Foundation
