Winter Festival

Let's take a moment out of the daily and ordinary  - let's come together and celebrate!

You and your family are invited to join the celebrate this year's Winter Festival with us. 

Another season - Winter - is here and we have an opportunity to come together as a community, connect with the wonder and gifts of this season - the visible & invisible ones and nourish the individual and the community spirit.

Join us to celebrate life, our shared humanity & the magic and mystery of light. The Winter festival is celebrated when the sun sends the least power to the earth. The days are short, the nights are long… and the festival helps remind us all of our ability to bring light into darker times. Something that is very important in these trying times.

Our Winter Festival will be held on Sunday the 30th of June from 3:30 pm - 6 :30 pm in the Country Paradise Parklands in Nerang (in the River Shed).

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT :

start at 4 pm

- welcome circle - we will share season inspired songs, verses, finger play and we will listen to a short inspirational speech

- craft for the children 

- sharing a meal together

- season inspired story

- spiral walk by the candle light

- farewell and pack up

WHAT TO BRING

Each family please bring :

- a wholesome ideally warm meal to share (we will have portable gas cookers to heat up food as well)

- a rug to sit on (if possible)

- cutlery and mug for your family

- cash for the raffle 

PLEASE NO FLOWING CLOTHES TO AVOID ANY FIRE RISK.
