Winter Grassland Walk
Description
This World Environment Day, join us along the Bellarine Railway Corridor in Mannerim to explore the beautiful grassland habitats. Learn to identify indigenous grasses and herbs as well as common weeds, learn about their impact and get your body moving by helping us remove weeds!
There will be a table with free plant booklets, wildlife brochures and examples of indigenous grasses that you can purchase at local indigenous nurseries. BYO gloves and wear long pants and enclosed shoes. Meet on the corner of the Bellarine Railway and Swan Bay Road. Park on either side of the road and walk towards the northern side of Swan Bay Road.
This event is family riendly and will be followed by a light morning tea!
