Winter Intro to LEGO Spike Robotics
Event description
Join us for a fun and interactive two-day workshop designed to introduce students to the exciting world of LEGO Spike Prime robotics and coding. Aimed at students aged 8–12, this hands-on experience runs on the 10th and 11th of July from 9:00am to 1:00pm each day at the Peregian Digital Hub.
Throughout the workshop, participants will learn how to design, build, and program their own robots using LEGO Spike Prime kits. They’ll explore the basics of block-based coding, tackle engaging challenges, and develop essential problem-solving and teamwork skills in a supportive and creative environment. This workshop is recommended for students with some prior coding experience.
Students must bring their own laptop, though a limited number of loan laptops will be available on the day if needed. One ticket covers both days of the workshop for one student.
Whether your child is new to robotics or building on existing skills, this is a fantastic introduction to hands-on STEM learning.
