In the darkest depths of winter, through nourishment and enquiry, we can further dive into an understanding of self.
Join us for a day of self-nurture, learning and relaxation.
Pranayama:
We commence the day with ancient Indian Yogic techniques of breath expansion.
These breathing tools are accessible to all, and something you can bring into your daily life, no matter what your lifestyle or routines.
Yin Yoga:
A gentle and inclusive style of Asana (postures) where you are encouraged to completely surrender and allow the body to naturally stretch and unwind.
In this practice, we target the connective tissue within our bodies (tendons, ligaments, muscles and fascia) whereby relaxation is necessary in order to allow this system to release.
It is suitable for all body types and levels of experience, including if you have never practiced yoga before.
Primordial Sound Meditation:
Bring the practice of mantra based meditation into your everyday life.
Learn how meditation helps you awaken to your true self through a journey from activity to silence.
Break free of old patterns, and shift your awareness from the noisy activity of the mind to quieter levels of consciousness inviting a happier, healthier, more harmonious way of life.
Enjoy a 20 minute guided mantra-based meditation
Chakra Balancing Meditation:
Experience a short Chakra balancing technique using the vibration of chanting to help realign the energetic and physical body-mind.
Body-Balance Flow:
A 30-minute yoga-flow to music to enhance strength, flexibility and the synchronicity between breath and mindful movement.
A beautiful way to lift energy and aid digestion.
Suitable for all levels.
Sound Bath:
Finally the day will conclude with sound using instruments of both modern times and ancient cultures, including Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Medicine Drum & more.
All of these instruments are attuned to specific frequencies and energetic centres within the body and will not only allow you to be completely relaxed and rejuvenated but have the potential to encourage visions, lucid dream-like states, clear thought & heal the physical body.
A highly nutritious Ayurvedic Lunch will also be served.
